A Tribute to Jean E. Higgins

The purpose of this site is to honor and celebrate Jean E. Higgins. Postings are offered to inform, inspire and with hope, make you smile or laugh--Jean would have wanted it that way. September 21, 1927 - November 11, 2006

One great woman, mother, aunt, grandma, friend!

You make me feel so young
You make me feel like spring has sprung
Every time I see you grin
Im such a happy individual

The moment that you speak
I want to go and play hide-and-seek
I want to go and bounce the moon
Just like a toy balloon

You and i, are just like a couple of tots
Running across the meadow
Picking up lots of forget-me-nots

You make me feel so young
You make me feel there are songs to be sung
Bells to be rung, and a wonderful fling to be flung

And even when Im old and gray
Im gonna feel the way I do today
cause you make me feel so young

This is the face that we know and love best but what a neat thing to go back in time and see the beautiful woman she was as a young lady. Thanks for sharing your mother with us Kathy. I feel privileged to have known her.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful tribute. I never knew Jean, but feel like I do now! So now I know where you got your gift for language and humor.

Kathy, I know these last few days have been difficult for you and your family.God bless Jean, your family, and the team from Hospice.

Kathy,
Jean has always held a special place in my heart. After reading your tribute I see that I am not alone.

I am sorry that Norm and I are unable to be at the service this weekend. Please know that we will be thinking of you, Heather, Thomas, Jewels, and Granpa Norm.
